We know how important it is to be transparent with pricing, the figures below should help you to put together an initial budget for a wedding at The Barn at Berkeley.
Our Venue Hire charges are as follows
May to September 2025 £3,700 - 4,000
October 2025 to April 2026 2,700 - 3,000
May to September 2026 £4,200 - £4,500
October 2026 to April 2027 £3,200 - £3,500
Hire of The Loft for your ceremony* £500
Hire of The Hen House to get ready* £350
Food & Drink Packages £70 - £90 per guest
Evening Food £10 per guest

To secure your date we require a non-refundable deposit of £2,000.
Payment schedule:
25% of your balance is due 12 months before
50% of your remaining balance is due six months before your wedding
Your final payment is due one month before.
We are currently taking bookings for 2025, 2026 & 2027.

The Barn at Berkeley is a large venue. We therefore ask that you invite a minimum of 60 adults to your wedding reception.
If you’re looking for something more intimate, we can offer this between November and March.

Hire of The Barn at Berkeley from 9am to midnight on the day of your wedding
You can access The Barn at Berkeley from 9am to set up and have exclusive use of the venue from one hour prior to your ceremony or arrival of guests. Before this time our team will be busy setting up for your day
Use of The Garden and The Parlour until 7.30pm
Use of our festoon lit Courtyard at the front of the building until midnight
Use of The Hen House from 9am until the start of your Ceremony (if booked)
A Wedding Coordinator, Waiting and Bar staff
Round tables to seat 8 - 10 people each. Additional tables for your wedding breakfast are charged at £50 per table
Three small tables for you to use for your cake, guest book and presents. Additional side tables are charged at £25 per table

A cake knife and platters for us to serve your cake to your guests after your evening food
Three highchairs & baby changing facilities
A dancefloor and stage for your band. We love a good party, but as a courtesy to our neighbours (and for the enjoyment of your guests) we do monitor sound levels within the venue and have a limit of 95db. Please make your band or DJ aware of this.
A PA system for background music (please note that our speakers are not suitable for a party playlist, please organise a band or DJ)
One microphone for speeches
During the winter months, our fire will be lit and there is underfloor heating throughout

The Barn at Berkeley has been designed to be accessible, and whatever your requirements, we will do our best to meet them. We have accessible bathrooms in The Loft and The Barn, an interior lift, and all rooms are accessible by wheelchair.

Yes, our standard food packages work for children of all ages. We can provide an alternative children’s meal for all children attending if you’d prefer.
Children aged 13 and over: £40-£65, Children aged 3 - 12: £30-40, Children aged 2 and under £15. Babes in arms are free

Before your wedding: If we don’t have another event on the day before yours, we’re happy to arrange a convenient time for your suppliers to set up (usually 1pm to 4pm). Alternatively they can set up from 9am on your wedding day.
On the Day: Please arrange for your suppliers to set up from 9am. They are very welcome to liaise with our team directly.
After the event: Our team will organise a convenient time for you to collect your belongings the following day (usually around 9.30am). Any suppliers can arrange collection of hired items directly with us, ideally during office hours and there is lots of useful information here

Situated in rural Berkeley we are not able to offer onsite accommodation, but we have partnered up with another local business The Lazy Goose, an elegant and comfortable B&B located just 7 miles away.
When booking your wedding with us we will include an overnight stay for the happy couple on their wedding night, subject to availability.

Yes, please supply real-flower or biodegradable confetti to use on the grass in the garden.

As we are a working farm with neighbours nearby, requests to hold a fireworks display will be considered on an individual basis and must be carried out by an accredited pyrotechnics company. You’re welcome to bring outdoor sparklers with prior notice.

By booking the Slide Barn as part of your wedding package you are agreeing to the general T&Cs for Cattle Country Farm Park on behalf of you and your guests.
Please make sure that your guests are dressed appropriately with clean socks and clothing that covers their backs, arms and thighs.
Any guests that appear to be intoxicated will not be permitted to use the play equipment.

We have plenty of parking and guests can leave their cars overnight and collect before 10am the following morning. We do not allow guests to stay overnight in campervans, sorry.

Yes. We’re here to ensure that you have the most amazing wedding day and want you to feel very much at home. As such we hope your guests will respect our venue in the same way that you would expect them to respect your home too. You are responsible for any damage to the premises and the conduct of your guests during the hire period. Any behaviour that we find unacceptable, abusive, dangerous or unlawful may at our discretion result in your wedding being brought to an immediate close. In such cases, no refund will be issued. Your £500 Wedding Day Deposit covers anything that happens on the day and will be refunded within 28 days of your Wedding unless any incidents occur, details can be found on your contract.

Round Tables for 8-10 guests: 180cm wide. These are provided with ¾ length white tablecloths (120”) with white linen napkins. If you would prefer full length (132”) tablecloths we can recommend hire companies
